Nokia’s Aeon Phone Prototype
From the LCD to TFT display and now to touch-screen, the mobile phone industry has felt a big difference in viewing the images on various screens. The phone will feature a full touchscreen surface that goes a long way in satisfying the need of trend setters for touchy feeling. The advanced fully touch-screen interface plays a dual role of a screen and standard keypad.
The Nokia Aeon’s phone will come with two touch-sensitive panels which are divided by a solid metal piece powered by fuel cell. The ergonomic keypad is entirely virtual, as Aeon flip instantly between a numeric pad for dialing, a text-entry pad for messaging and a media-player controller. And, it is one of the most amazing feature of this phone that attracts the users.
Well, this is made possible with the help of fuel phone concept. This concept is taken from the Synaptics Onyx. As a matter of fact, it is based on 2 inches touch sensitive screens fastened together by fuel cell battery. The Aeon phone from Nokia will boast outstanding design feature with the touchscreen that stretches over the full surface area. The touchscreen feature is somehow similar to the phone BenQ from Siemens’s Black box concept. The battery of the phone is considered as a viable alternative to commonly used lithium battery, as it helps to reduce pollutants in the atmosphere.
The Nokia Aeon phone will be available in varied colours namely- black, green and blue colors. A thin candy-bar shaped phone will come with a split-screen design. The bottom screen of the device will work more like a touch screen that morphs into various buttons and menus depending on the requirement.
