You will no more be missing your favourite shows with Sky+
A greater number of the British TV freaks are now enjoying the TV programmes with ease as they do not miss any favourite show with Sky+, in accordance with a figure produced by this satellite TV giant.
The households with the subscriptions of Sky+ were able to cope with one of the toughest TV viewing decision of the year as two of the most viable shows namely BBC’s Personality of the Year and the X Factor were clashing at the same time, the viewers could see it using digital recorders(PVRs).
According to the reports by Digital TV giant Sky, around one million of the its present subscribers took the benefit of Sky+ HD boxes on Saturday evening, 13th December when two of the prime-line shows happened to clash on ITV1 and BBC1.
One of the spokespersons for Sky said: “Scheduling clashes like this are what Sky+ was made for, allowing fans to watch every second of their favourite shows.”
“When the X Factor and Sports Personality of the Year came up against each other at the weekend, almost 1.1 million Sky+ and Sky+HD users had enjoyed both shows by Monday morning,” they further added.
As per the figure, it is shown that around 1.057 million households opted to use there Sky+HD and Sky+ boxes to record either of the shows, with a huge number of viewers around 892,000 set their Sky+ boxes to watch Joe McElderry battling out against Olly Murs to be crowned X Factor champion for the year 2009.
“With Sky currently offering Sky+ boxes for free, as well as six months free unlimited broadband and free evening and weekend calls, there has never been a better time to switch to digital and sign-up to Sky.”
